1. Please do not disempower yourself thus. Whatever has happened HAS happened. Neither you nor anyone else can reverse time. The only option is that you consciously decide to change yourself in a way that supports the creation of a life that you want for yourself. Please note that the more we think of what someone else has done to us, the more we make ourselves weak: after all, there is little we can do to change other people; while we can do a lot to change ourselves. And when we work in a certain way, its logical consequences ALWAYS flow. So, please turn a corner, and decide that now on, you will SLOWLY and GRADUALLY change the course of your life to be able to live a life which you will be happier with. I can assure you that it can be done; just not in the time-frame or in the exact measure that you want. But then, that is the case with every single human being.

2. How happy you are is a function of what your expectations are. As Buddha explained to us a long long time ago that misery is a given in life. It will always happen. However, having said that, he also said that one can get rid of it. How? by figuring out what is the root cause of misery / suffering? What is the root cause? Blind craving. in other words, wanting or expecting something which is not possible given the reality. In other words, if I want to fly by flapping my arms, like pigeons do, I will never be able to do it. And I can feel as miserable as I want, the situation will always ensure that I cannot fly by flapping my arms. On the other hand, I can always get on an airplane or a glider or parajump and fly. It is simply what basic Physics tells us. Buddha’s message is also the same. Certain causes result in certain consequences. Expecting something else and being invested emotionally in it will always make us unhappy. So, think about what you want, what the reality can support, perform the relevant actions and get the relevant results. Simple Buddha. Simple Physics.

Everybody hates something or the other – people should be free to hate.

But since expressing hatred for race, caste and particularly, towards religions (or a religion) will be met with violent hostility the likes of which the state can probably not contain, and the added fact that the current Indian state’s prerogative to protect FoS is close to zilch, well, we know that ain’t gonna happen.

Just a fact: the present CJI will have the authority to constitute the bench that will hear the case. The Constitution of the bench has a direct bearing on the outcome. The present CJI may be of a traditional bend of persuasion when it comes to matters of Nationalism and Patriotism, as evidenced from his judgment on the playing of National Anthem at the beginning of movie screenings in cinema halls. Just imagine a bench of 5 similarly conservative judges taking up 377.
