The Delhi Queer Pride was held on Nov 27th and attended by thousands of people, both LGBTQIA and their allies. The march began from Barakhamba Road, led by a huge rainbow arch of balloons

People walked under a huge rainbow flag.

And danced to the beats of Dhol

While this man from Canada had some really cool moves to show with the ring

Some put on their make up at the venue

And others came dressed in rainbow colours

Pammy Aunty was the inspiration for this man

And Cat Woman for this girl

There were quirky beards

And rainbow flags

There has never been a better display of gender fluidity

The nose ring, or nath, was the fashion accesory of choice

But Spicy Tutuboy stole the thunder at the pride

Delhi Pride was not just a celebration, and political demands were kept forward too

And this Trump <3 Modi poster caught a lot of attention

People protested against demonetisation as well

E-rickshaws were made available to make the pride accessible to people with disability

People joined in with their friends

And clicked selfies

And kissed their partner

The march finally ended at Jantar Mantar. The question that remains though is: When will the government hear these voices?
