Supreme Court will not be hearing the curative petition on Section 377 this friday, as the final Causelist for the day does not carry the case matter. Now that the case will not be heard tomorrow, it is difficult to say when it might come up for hearing.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Supreme Court website had listed the 377 case for 8th September, raising hopes that the case might come up for hearing this Friday. However, the final cause list for the day had not yet been prepared, and lawyers pointed out that it will be known only on Thursday evening whether the court will take up the matter on Friday or not. The final list released on Thursday evening does not carry the 377 case.
