There’s just something that’s instantly attractive about a well-groomed man. Take a look at some of the best groomed male celebrities such as David Beckham, Ricky Martin, and Zac Efron. These guys all know the power of a good skincare and haircare regimen, as evidenced by their swooning fans all over the world. Being well-groomed not only makes you look better, but it can also improve your self-confidence and may even improve other aspects of your life such as your career and relationships. You may have mastered the art of having carefully disheveled hair via well-chosen hair care products, but here are other grooming hacks that every man should master as part of a healthy personal care regimen.
Trimming nose hair
Nobody likes to do it, but it has to be done. Having one (or several) nose hairs peeking out of your nostrils is not only unattractive, but it can also be uncomfortable. For this reason, many turn to wax to get rid of nose hair. Other, less permanent options include electric trimmers. Pick an area with good lighting, then set up a magnifying mirror so you can see your nose hairs better. Separate nose hair with a wet cloth and trim carefully with a manual or electric nose hair clipper.
Concealing a pimple
Having a big pimple on your face can seriously cramp your style. The first thing that you have to do is to shrink the zit first. You can apply cold compresses for a few minutes, then cover the pimple with acne cream to reduce inflammation and redness. To hide the pimple, you must have a concealer stick that’s the exact shade of your skin. Make sure that you have a non-runny formula so that it sticks to the pimple better. Dab the concealer on the pimple, taking care to reapply after every few hours.
Improve bad breath after meals
You’re at dinner with friends and enjoying a garlicky meal. As you don’t have a toothbrush and toothpaste on you, it may seem quite challenging to mask your garlicky breath. Don’t fret—there are several ways to fix this. If your meal has a sprig of parsley, save it for later as not only does it have lots of health benefits, but it can also freshen your breath in an instant. Chew the parsley for a few minutes to mask bad mouth odors. You can also chew a leaf of fresh mint (check your dessert for mint leaves) or drink water with lemon or lime to combat odor-causing bacteria.
Follow these tips to step up your grooming routine and look and feel better in an instant. Taking care of these little details can do a lot to improve every man’s well-being and confidence.
