Yaariyan, a LGBT youth organization took to the streets and performed Navi Mumbai’s 1st flash mob outside Vashi station on 23rd January,2016 at 5:05pm.
The flash mob was a part of the pre-pride events of the Mumbai pride. It was held to create awareness about LGBT(lesbian,gay,bisexual,transgender) members of the society and to fight for equal rights and to bring down the archaic law of Section 377. The group danced to a number of peppy songs and ended the performance by shouting slogans in support of LGBT rights and exhorting the public to do the same.
